Photo Voltaic Solar Panels
Photo voltaic solar panels use the principal of transforming light energy into electric energy. The photo voltaic principle adopts silicon chips fitted into glass tubing side to side with a semiconductor. The silicon allows an electric pulse to flow through once some light is sensed. This type of solar panel is used largely in small devices such as calculators and watches.
The principal scientifically entails a photo voltaic module in which an aluminum plate as the absorber plate. The module is composed of several photo voltaic cells which are interconnected along a channel. This ends into leads which represent either the positive or the negative polarity. This creates the output of the composite module of the photo voltaic cells. Each of the cells produce an electric current, which when compiled along the channel become a huge current and are used to charge a chargeable battery.
This is the general mechanism and principal used in the construction of a solar panel. This is the key mechanism, in fact. The technology is used widely and has become the popular design among many companies.
