Homemade Solar Panels

The absorber plate taps the energy and distributes it evenly into the tubes. The absorber plate is made of aluminum and is framed so that it can maintain its dish shape. Glass is used as a covering or insulation so as to avoid loss of energy. It is recommended that one uses thin glass to allow up to 92% light transmittance to get good results. This solar panel heats quite a substantial volume of water. A lot of people have installed the appliance into their homes for efficient water heating.
