DIY Solar Panel

A DIY solar panel is the same as a home made solar panel. The DIY sticks to three basic values: cost, efficiency and durability. This technology is a composite flat structure with black copper tubes, which water passes through. An aluminum plate under thin glass reflects and absorbs solar energy. This is where the principal of efficiency comes in. The glass saves the energy while the aluminum gets heated by the sunlights' intensity. Heat passes to the black copper tubes, which the water is running through. The water becomes heated and can be used for bathing, washing and drinking too. When constructing this panel, you need to follow the measurements specified to attain good results. A long panel is efficient since the long panel offers more surface area for the solar energy intensity to bounce on while the same length serves as the heating chamber. This length adds to the heating efficiency. DIY solar panels usually have a life of about 15 years. The sole purpose of owning one is simply to save on the cost of heating water. The DIY solar panel saves a lot of energy due to its efficiency and capability to heat quite a substantial volume of water.
